About the speaker: Prof. Dr. Nico Dissmeyer conducts research at the Faculty of Biology, Plant Physiology,
University Osnabrück

We investigate chemical changes in plant proteins that influence how stable and functional they remain in the cell. Using special genetic methods, we can specifically enrich or degrade proteins in living plants in order to precisely control their function and find out how these processes influence cell health.

The lecture will be held in German.
